重藤真介・理学部教授が、2023年6月28日～2023年6月30日に、台湾・新竹市で開催された8th Taiwan International Symposium on Raman Spectroscopy & TARS Summer Campにおいて、最先端ラマン分光の微生物研究への応用をテーマに発表を行いました。8th Taiwan International Symposium on Raman Spectroscopy & TARS Summer Campは、台湾ラマン分光学協会（TARS）が2013年に開始したラマン分光を中心とする振動分光に関する国際シンポジウムならびに学生向けのサマーキャンプで、日・台・シンガポール3カ国から100名超の研究者が集まり発表・討議が行われました。コロナ禍で開催が3年延期されたこともあり、最先端のラマン分光研究に関する活発な議論が行われ、非常に盛会でした。
Professor Shinsuke Shigeto of the School of Science gave an invited talk and a lecture on applications of Raman spectroscopy to microbiology at the 8th Taiwan International Symposium on Raman Spectroscopy and TARS Summer Camp, which was held from June 28th to 30th in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The 8th Taiwan International Symposium on Raman Spectroscopy and TARS Summer Camp aims to promote . Over 100 researchers including students from 3 countries gathered to give presentations and hold discussions. There were lively debates on the basics and applications of Raman spectroscopy.
