西谷滋人・工学部教授が、2023年6月25日から6月30日にかけて、米国・ボストンで開催されたCalphad Lにおいて、"Finite temperature boundary energy of Al"をテーマに発表を行いました。Calphad Lは、計算状態図に関する会議で、今回は50回の記念大会となり、10カ国以上の国から300名もの研究者が集まり発表・討議が行われました。毎年開かれるこの会議では全出席者が同じホテルに泊まって、食事をともにし、親密な議論と関係を築くことができる会議です。
Professor Shigeto R. Nishitani, Department of Engineering, gave a presentation on "Finite temperature boundary energy of Al" at the Calphad L, which was held from 25/06/23 to 30 in Boston. Calphad is the annual conference for the calculated phase diagram. More then 300 members from 10 countries gathered to give presentations and hold discussions. This is the 50th annivarsary meeting, and the author presented his talk on the first day and had deep discussions.
