西谷滋人・工学部教授が、2023年7月2日から7月7日にかけて、ウィーンで開催されたThermec'2023において、"Finite temperature first principles calculations on Al <100> symmetric tilt and twist grain boundaries"をテーマに発表を行いました。Thermec'2023は、固体材料全般の研究を扱う国際会議で、20カ国以上の国から500名もの研究者が集まり発表・討議が行われました。結晶粒界のセッションにおいて座長を務めるとともに、招待講演を行いました。
Professor Shigeto R. Nishitani, Departement of Engineering, gave a presentation on "Finite temperature first principles calculations on Al <100> symmetric tilt and twist grain boundaries"at at the Thermec'2023, which was held from2 July 2023 to 7 in Vienna].Thermec'2023 is a huge conference for solid state materials. More than 500 members from 20 countries gathered to give presentations and hold discussions. He was a chair of the boundary session and gave the invited talk.
