SIL, Robert Higgins from the Language Centre gave a presentation on English-oriented internationalisation policy planning in a Japanese university: the in-between enactment spaces of hybrid practitioner agency at SEACE 2023, which was held from February 10 to February 13 in Singapore. SEACE is organised by IAFOR Research Center at Osaka University’s School of International Public Policy. More than 200 delegates from more than 40 countries took part in this event. The conference was interdisplinary in its aims and objectives, bringing scholars, researchers, professional practitioners, and students from both within the region of Asia and outside of the region. In conjuction and in parallel with the conference, IAFOR Research Center at Osaka University’s School of International Public Policy organised a job research fair bringing together Japanese corporate organisations and potential job seekers to discuss the current working environment in Japan. This added an interesting dimension to support the academic and professional aims and objectives of the organisers.
