2023年9月11日から13日までジョージアのトビリシで開催された第5回多言語教育の文脈における第二言語教育／習得に関する国際会議（SeLTAME 2023）で、関西学院大学言語教育研究センターのIEFL、レオン・タウンゼント＝中井が「自己評価による学生のプレゼンテーションスキルの向上」について発表しました。この会議の目的は、多言語教育の文脈における第二言語教育のアプローチや戦略に加えて、主要な概念や成果を検討し、共有することです。アメリカ、ドイツ、イギリス、日本など複数の国から多くの研究者が参加し、プレゼンテーションやディスカッションを行いました。理論と実践の両方の発表が英語とグルジア語の両方で行われ、発表されたトピックについて興味深い議論や質問が交わされました。
IEFL, Leon Townsend-Nakai, of the Language Center at Kwansei Gakuin University, gave a presentation on Enhancing Student Presentation Skills through Self-Assessment at the fifth international conference on Second Language Teaching/Acquisition in the Context of Multilingual Education (SeLTAME 2023), which was held from September 11th 2023 to 13th 2023 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The aim of the conference is to consider and share the main concepts and achievements in addition to approaches and strategies of second language teaching within the context of multilingual education. Many researchers attended from multiple countries such as the USA, Germany, the UK, and Japan to give presentations and hold discussions. Both theoretical and practical presentations were offered in both English and Georgian, and there were interesting discussions and questions about the topics presented.
