工藤卓・工学部教授はInternational Conference on Human-Agent Interaction (HAI 2023)において、ポスターにて口頭発表を2件(うち1件は指導担当の大学院生)行いました。HAIは、ロボット、ソフトウェア エージェント、デジタルメディアを含む、従来のインタラクション工学の境界を越えた分野融合的学術会議であり、認知科学、神経工学における発表も多くあります。

と言う演目で、生体神経回路網とスマートスピーカーを接続して実現した片言で人と連想的な対話を行うシステムについて発表を行い、世界中から集った他分野の研究者と分野融合的な技術について幅広いディスカッションを行いました。

The 11th International Conference on Human-Agent Interaction (HAI 2023) aims to be the premier interdisciplinary venue for discussing and disseminating state-of-the-art research and results that have implications across conventional interaction boundaries including robots, software agents and digitally-mediated human-human communication.

In the performance, he presented a system that connects a living neuronal network and a smart speaker to have associative conversations with people using 3-broken-words, and he collaborated with researchers from other fields from around the world on an interdisciplinary project. We had a wide-ranging discussion about technology.
