高岡裕之・文学部教授が代表を務める大阪歴史科学協議会2024年度大会（後援：関西学院大学）が、2024年6月8日、上ケ原キャンパスB号館で開催されました。大阪歴史科学協議会は、科学的歴史像を追究するため、1964年に設立された学会です。「清代中国と近世日本の地域社会の比較史―「史料と社会」の視角から―」というテーマの下、中国近世史の山田賢氏（千葉大学教授）をゲストスピーカーに迎えて行われた今回の大会は、40名以上の日本史・アジア史研究者の参加を得、活発な討論が行われました。
The 2024 Congress of the Osaka Historical Science Council(sponsored by Kwansei Gakuin University),headed by Hiroyuki Takaoka, Professor, Faculty of Letters, was held on 8 June 2024 at Building B, Uegahara Campus. The Osaka Historical Science Council is an academic society established in 1964 to pursue a scientific image of history. Under the theme 'Comparative History of Local Communities in Qing China and Early Modern Japan', the conference, which featured guest speaker Ken Yamada (Professor of Early Modern Chinese History, Chiba University), was attended by more than 40 researchers in Japanese and Asian history, who engaged in lively discussions.
