Research Results
(1) The results of the research project were disseminated and papers completed by the previous fiscal year were published in a peer-reviewed journal.

(2) Preparation for a social experiment
The project prepared for a social experiment to clarify what methods would be effective in promoting mutual understanding between Rohingya refugees and the residents in the surrounding communities and building a sustainable social and economic system. Although the basic design had been completed by March 2023, the design was revised a few times as a result of examining various elements and methods. For this reason, another pre-experiment was needed and, accordingly, we conducted it. The purpose of the experiment is to measure the changes in sentiments/preferences, behavior, and sense of belonging to the community of the residents in the host communities after they gain experiences relating to refugees.

(3) Submitting the papers on the research results on Chittagong Hill Tracts to peer-reviewed journals
The adjacent area of Cox's Bazar province, where the Rohingya refugee camp is located, is inhabited by ethnic minorities in Bangladesh. We have submitted papers analyzing the data obtained from the economic experiment and survey we conducted in the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The following two papers are now under review in the international peer-reviewed journal.
