山田到史子・司法研究科准教授が、Prof. Kröllとの共同オーガナイザーとして、3月21日（金）14:00～17:00に、仲裁と国際契約(国連国際物品売買条約CISG)について、海外から著名な研究者・実務家を招いて、対面でのConferenceを開催した。
第1部の手続法分野では、Bucerius Law School教授でドイツ仲裁人協会理事長のステファン・クレル先生の基調講演「多層紛争解決条項と証拠収集」に関して、ドイツ仲裁人協会副理事長ルーベン・ボーデンハイマー博士、元シンガポール裁判官アンセルモ・レイエス博士、日本からは日本仲裁人協会仲裁人、大学研究者らのコメントに続き、パネルディスカッションが行われた。第2部の実体法分野では、バーゼル大学名誉教授でCISGの世界的権威インゲボルグ・シュベンツァー教授の基調講演「政府契約とCISG」に関して、スイス仲裁人フロリアン・モース博士をはじめとする上述のコメントテーターーのコメントに続いて、パネルディスカッションが行われた。ドイツ・スイス・シンガポール・ブラジル・中国・アメリカ等から129名の研究者・法務省・弁護士・仲裁人・企業・大学院生らが参加し、大陸法・英米法と日本法との比較法の視点から、活発で非常に有益な議論が行われた。

Assoc. Prof. Dr. YAMADA, Law School served as an Organize for International Conference of International Dispute Resolution, which was held on 21st of march in Kyoto. The first part fo the Conference is Procedural Theme:Keynote Speech by Prof. Dr. Stefan Kröll “Practical Problems underlying the Vis Case: Multi-tier dispute resolution clause and taking of evidence.”, and Commentator: German Arbitrator (: Dr.Rouven Bodenheimer), Singapore Arbitrator (: Prof. Anselmo Rayes), Japanese Arbitrator (: Mr. Masaharu Ohnuki, JAA), Japanese Scholar/Moderator (: Prof. Koji Takahashi), and Panel Discussion.The second part is Merit’s Theme: Keynote Speech by Prof. Ingeborg Schwenzer "Government Contracts and the CISG", Commentator: German Arbitrator (: Dr. Florian Mohs)etc., and Panel Discussion.
129 people who attended from 7 countries gathered to give presentations and hold discussions. There were lively debates, researchers from many countries exchanged ideas, and well-known researchers were invited to introduce leading research.
