西谷滋人・工学部教授が、2025年6月30日～7月4日にかけ、France/Toursで開催されたThermec 25sにおいて、"Shift and delete effect on aluminum twist grain boundary energy"をテーマに発表を行いました。Thermec '2025は、先進材料の製造プロセス・開発を目的とし、20カ国以上の国から1000名もの研究者が集まり発表・討議が行われました。特に粒界に関する国際会議として開かれたセッションにおいて、西谷教授は招待講演を行い、多数の参加者から活発な質疑・討論に応えていました。
Prosessor Shigeto R. Nishitai of Department of Engineering gave a presentation on "Shift and delete effect on aluminum twist grain boundary energy"at the Thermec 25', which was held from 30/6/25 to 4/7/25 in Tours(France). Thermec '2025 is held for the processing and manufactureing of advanced materilas. More than 1000 researchers from 20 countries gathered to give presentations and hold discussions. At the session, which is the international conference on grain boundaries, he gave an invited talk and repled the active discussions and comments.
