武内今日子・社会学部助教が、2025年7月6日から2025年7月11日に、モロッコ・ラバトで開催されたThe 5th ISA Forum of Sociologyにおいて、ノンバイナリーの人々への差別と当事者のオンライン・コミュニティ形成をテーマに発表を行いました。The 5th ISA Forum of Sociologyは、社会学の世界最大規模の学会で、世界各国から多くの研究者が集まり多岐にわたる部会が組まれ、発表・討議が行われました。LGBTQ+のセッションで行われた研究発表では、日本のノンバイナリーの人々の団体がどのくらいあり、それぞれがオンライン・オフラインでどのような活動を行ってきたのかについて意見交換がなされ、日本のノンバイナリーの人々の活動を国際的な文脈のもとで把握することにつながりました。
Kyoko Takeuchi, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sociology, gave a presentation at the 5th ISA Forum of Sociology held in Rabat, Morocco, from July 6 to July 11, 2025. Their presentation focused on discrimination against nonbinary individuals and the formation of their online communities. The 5th ISA Forum of Sociology is one of the largest international conferences in the field of sociology, bringing together researchers from around the world. It features a wide range of research committees and sessions, providing opportunities for presentations and discussions across diverse topics. In the LGBTQ+ session, they exchanged views on the number and types of nonbinary groups in Japan and how these groups have been engaging in both online and offline activities. This contributed to a broader understanding of the activities of nonbinary people in Japan within an international context.
