山根 周・総合政策学部准教授（建築学）が監修を担当したTBSのテレビ番組「世界遺産」が2019年6月30日（日）18時00分から放送されます。テーマは「ラジャスターンの城塞群 〜 天空の城！マハラジャ達の夢の跡（インド）」。インドの歴史都市や建築を研究してきた山根准教授は、番組後半のジャイサルメールの監修を担当しました。番組では砂漠に築かれた城塞都市の王宮、建築、都市空間が美しい映像で紹介されます。
Associate Professor Shu Yamane of the School of Policy Studies supervised the TBS TV program “The World Heritage” broadcasted on June 30 (Sun) 18:00 - 18:30. The topic of the day is “The Hill Forts of Rajasthan, India: Castles in the Sky! The Remains of Maharajas’ Dreams”. Prof. Yamane who has been studying the historic cities and architecture in India supervised the latter half of the program focusing Jaisalmer city. The palaces, architecture and the cityscape of Jaisalmer, a fortified city in the desert, will be introduced with beautiful pictures.
