早川有紀・法学部准教授が、2024年3月14日～17日に、アメリカ・シアトルで開催されたAssociation for Asian Studies (AAS) 2024 Annual Conferenceにおいて、コロナ禍での日本の地方政府における経済活動規制（"Regulations on Economic Activity Under COVID-19 in Japan: Local Government Policy in Crisis Situations"）をテーマに発表を行いました。AASのAnnual Conferenceは、アジア研究を行う研究者が集う最大の国際会議であり、500以上のパネルが開かれ、3000人以上もの研究者が参加して発表・討議が行われました。COVID-19に対するアジア各国の政策や対応に対する関心は高く、報告者、討論者、フロアも交えて熱心な議論が行われました。
Associate Professor Yuki Hayakawa, School of Law and Politics, presented "Regulations on Economic Activity Under COVID-19 in Japan: Local Government Policy in Crisis Situations" at the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) 2024 Annual Conference, held in Seattle, Washington, USA, March 14-17, 2024. The AAS Annual Conference is the largest international gathering of Asian Studies scholars, with more than 500 panels and 3,000 participants, More than 500 panels were held and over 3,000 researchers participated in the presentations and discussions. Interest in Asian countries' policies and responses to COVID-19 was high, and there were enthusiastic discussions among presenters, discussants, and the floor.
