Daniel Warchulski (School of Architecture, IEFL) gave a presentation on using self-assessment activities as an alternative and complimentary approach to traditional assessment.  The presentation was given at the 44th annual Thailand TESOL International Conference 2025, which was held from January 24th to 25th in Bangkok, Thailand. This year's conference was concerned with,  "Exploring the New Frontiers of ELT for a Better Tomorrow: Innovative Curriculum, Pedagogy, and Assessment." The conference includes hundreds of attendees, including educators, researchers, and other language professionals, from a variety of countries, with most attendees being from Asian countries. The conference provides opportunities for attendees to learn about a wide range of topics from the ELT field through attending presentations, workshops, and keynote speeches, as well as through networking and collaboration with peers.
