佐藤英俊・生命環境学部教授が、2023年8月27日から2023年9月1日にかけて、ポーランド・クラコフで開催された国際学会・ICAVS12において、Raman Spectroscopy for Pre-Disease Analysisをテーマに招待講演での発表を行いました。国際学会・ICAVS12は、International Conference on Advanced Vibrational Spectroscopyの頭文字を取って命名されており、世界で代表的な振動分光学に関する国際会議です。日本初の国際会議AIRSやフーリエ変換分光法に関する国際会議ICOFTS等が合体してできた会議で、2年ごとに開催され今年で12回目を迎えます。15カ国以上の国から約300名もの研究者が集まり発表・討議が行われました。佐藤教授は日本から招待講演に呼ばれた2名の一人として、生命医用分光学の進歩について紹介しました。
Professor, Hidetoshi SATO, School of Biological and Environmental Sciences gave a presentation on Raman Spectroscopy for Pre-Disease Analysis at the ICAVS, which was held from 27 Aug. 2023 to 1 Sep. 2023 in Krakow, Poland. ICAVS12 is one of the world largiest international conference on spectroscopy. International conferences of AIRS that has initiated in Japan and and ICOFTS were merged to one conference and bore ICAVS. ICAVS is held every 2 years and it was the 12th conference. About 300 researcheres on spectroscopy gathered there from more than 15 countries and had fluitful discussions. Prof. Sato was one of the 2 invited speakers from Japan and introduced recent progresses about biomedical spectroscopy and its applications.
