高橋和子・工学部教授が、2024年9月17日から20日まで Quebec City, Canada において開催された 16th International Con円ference on Spatial Information Theory (COSIT 2024) において、"Qualitative Formalization of a Curve on a Two-Dimensional Plane" という標題で口頭発表を行いました。COSIT は、「空間情報」をキーワードに情報学、認知科学、地理学など多様な分野に渡る研究者が成果を発表し、それぞれの視点から意見を交わすユニークな会議で、今回は100名ほどの参加者がありました。今回は原則対面参加で、2件の基調講演、11件のフルペーパーおよび20件のショートペーパーの口頭発表の他、ポスターセッションやいくつかのテーマセッションがあり、参加者の間で活発な討論と交流が行われました。
Professor Kazuko Takahashi, School of Engineering, gave an oral presentation entitled "Qualitative Formalization of a Curve on a Two-Dimensional Plane," at the 16th International Conference on Spatial Information Theory (COSIT 2024), held at Quebec city, Canada, from September 17 to 20 in 2024. COSIT is a unique conference in which researchers of various research areas such as informatics, cognitive science, geography and so on, show their research results and discuss with each other under the keyword "spatial information." This time, it was held in a basically in-person style and had about 100 participants. In addition to two keynode lectures, 11 full papers and 20 short papers, the program included poster seesion and 3 thematic sessions. All of these were processed in a single session which envoked an active discussion and interaction between the participants.
