日中社会学会第33回大会が関西学院大学の主催でオンライン開催されました

2021年11月６日、日中社会学会第33回大会が関西学院大学の主催でオンライン開催されました。大会実行委員長は陳立行・社会学部教授が務めました。
日中社会学会は40年以上の歴史を持ち、初代会長の故福武直先生は、「中国の社会変化を見極める現地調査」、「若手研究者の育成」、「日中両国の学術交流」という三つの課題を提起され、その後、これは学会の主旨となりました。2000年以降、日中社会学会が大きく発展するとともに、多くの社会学若手研究者を育てた結果、中国に帰国した日本留学生を中心とする「中日社会学会」が2015年に立ち上げられました。こうして、両学会の交流が益々活発化し、現在、日中社会学会は新しい局面に迎えています。
第33回大会の参加者は約100人にのぼり、英語セッション一つを含め、合計21件の発表が行われました。その中、2件が中日社会学会からの発表でした。本大会では、中日社会学会の羅紅光先生が来賓挨拶をして下さり、副会長の阮雲星先生が「東アジアにおけるサイポーク人類学の試み：中日学界の研究を中心に」の特別講演をして下さいました。さらに、大学共同研究チームの陳立行、横田伸子が、著名なジェンダー法学者の三成美穂先生をお招きして、開催校企画シンポジウムとして「東アジアの近代化における女性の社会参加 」を開催しました。このシンポジウムでは、日本、韓国、中国における女性の社会参加と社会排除の実態を発表し、伝統文化と国民国家の枠組みの視点から東アジア女性の社会参加について発表と討論を展開されました。
コロナ禍のため、国際間の移動が困難になる中でも、日本と中国の社会変動を第一線でキャッチし、社会学研究領域において学術交流を通じて、それを共有することは大きな意味があると認識されます。

In November 6, 2021, the 33rd Annual Conference of the Japan-China Sociological Society was held by Kwansei Gakuin University online. The Conference executive committee was chaired by Professor Lixing Chen, Faculty of Sociology.
The Japan-China Sociological Society has a history of more than 40 years. Since 2000, the Japan-China Sociological Society has developed significantly, and as a result of fostering many young Chinese researchers in sociology, the "China-Japan Sociological Society" was launched in 2015, centered by the students who have studied in Japan and returned to China. Since then, the exchange between the two societies has become more and more active.
About 100 people from Japan and China participated in the 33rd Conference, and a total of 21 presentations were made, including one English session. At this conference, Dr. Luo Hongguang, the chair of the China-Japan Sociological Society gave a greeting speech, and Dr. Yuan Yunxing, Vice Chair the China-Japan Sociological Society, gave a special report on "Challenge of Cybornetic Anthropology in East Asia”. In addition, Professor Lixing Chen and professor Nobuko Yokota, as a university joint research team, invited prominent gender law scholar Miho Minari to hold a symposium on "Women's Social Participation in the Modernization of East Asia". At this symposium, the actual conditions of women's social participation and social exclusion in Japan, South Korea, and China were presented, and had a very active discussion on East Asian women's social participation from the perspective of traditional culture and the framework of the nation-state.
Though it is difficult to move internationally due to the corona disaster, we found it much more meaningful to catch social changes in Japan and China and share them through this conference with the help of online systems.
