Professor Daisuke Chugo, School of Engineering, presented a paper on "Analysis of Rehabilitation Methods for Small Dogs Based on the Muscular Activity" at the 32nd International Symposium on Industrial Electronics (ISIE2023) held at Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland, from 19 to 21 June 2023. This presentation analysed the musculoskeletal rehabilitation movements performed by veterinarians on small dogs, such as Corgis, who are often affected by paralysis of the lower limbs, and reported the effects of these rehabilitation movements from an engineering perspective. ISIE 2023 was an international conference organised by IEEE and the Industrial Electonics Society (IES), bringing together 250 researchers from more than 20 countries to discuss industrial frontier technologies, electronics, control, communications, measurement and computational intelligence.
